Kansas City's Premiere Luxury Picnic Experience
Lavish Picnics by B offers the ultimate luxury picnic experience. You select the locations and we do the rest! We handle the set up so all you have to do is enjoy yourself. Want a snack? Feel free to add a grazing box to your picnic package. Plus, we handle clean up as well, so your only priority is having a great time!
How it Works
Decor Selections
Whether you decide to go with our Boho styled picnic or Glam styled picnic, you have the choice to select the color scheme for your event. All color schemes are listed on the contact form.
Booking Process
Fill out the Contact Form by clicking the BOOK NOW button. Be sure to check out the available add-ons and include them on the contact form!
After you fill out the form, we will reach out to you via phone, email, or video conference with any additional questions and your invoice. You must pay the 50% deposit to reserve your party. Full payment is required 48 hours prior to your event.
Day of Event
Delivery: We will set up at selected park or come to you and handle all of the set up and tear down. A delivery fee will be charged if your event location does not include one of the park choices listed in the booking form and/or is 20 miles outside of our zip code (64012). The delivery fee will be based off the address you provide.
Set Up: Takes place at the agreed upon time . We will just need you to show us where to set up or we can find a spot in a local park of your choosing! It can be set up inside, outside with good weather or even at a park or hotel of your choosing!
Selecting a Location: The renter is responsible for selecting the location and getting permission to set up if it isn't at one of our choice public parks. If the picnic is set up inside, please provide us with the dimensions and a photo of the set up space ahead of time. If hosting in a hotel room, we strongly encourage that you do a site visit to ensure there is enough space. If you choose a local park please do a site visit beforehand to ensure a good spot.
Always select a location that is easily accessible. We have a very large number of items that are involved with each rental, and if there are flights of stairs or long hikes involved, we will not be able to accommodate you and/or there will be an extra fee that will either be charged before your party or taken out of your deposit after. The fee will vary depending on what is involved/how involved the set up is.
Weather Back Up Plan: We do ask that you have a rain back up plan, such as an inside location or covered gazebo ready to go or we will need to reschedule if there is rain in the forecast. We do have a 10ftx10ft bubble tent that can be reserved for an additional cost if there is not heavy rain and high winds.
Things to Consider
All sales are final
In the event of bad weather, your event can be rescheduled to another date of your choosing (if date is available) credit must be used within a three month time frame.
Outside Area and Delivery Fees
Lavish Picnics by B services the Kansas City Metropolitan area. Areas that are over 20 miles out of our zip code radius (64012 ) will have a delivery fee of $35 applied to final invoice. If your event is over 25 miles an additional .55 a mile will be added and included in your invoice.
Food and Drink
Food is not included in setups, but can be added on to your picnic package. We offer grazing boxes curated by Olive & Co.
Each picnic package includes water and ice. We do not serve alcohol, but it never hurts to BYOB if your selected location permits.
Bookings
Bookings for small parties will be accepted up to 3 days prior to event .Bookings for parties over 8 (limit 12) must be booked 1-2 weeks in advance. Some exceptions may be made if scheduling permits, please email or call in advance.
Time Limits
All picnics have a 2 hour time limit. Additional hours can be added for $65 per hour.
Set Up Time: For weekday parties (Monday-Thursday) the earliest party start time will be 6pm. The time needed for the set up will vary depending on the number of items rented, distance of set up location, and other parties we may already have scheduled.
Pick Up Time: The latest we will pick up for local parties is 9pm. Please keep in mind that most parks close at dusk!
Please do not leave any part of our set ups unattended in a public place. You are responsible for the set up the entire rental time. If you finish early please contact us to pick up early.
